I went to a cockfight outside of Agana, Guam once. It was pretty brutal, but the thing that bothered me the most was the food they had for sale - Chicken (which was probably an earlier loser), and Bulod which is some kind of half fetus half egg filipino delicacy. Moral of this story is don't eat refreshments at cockfights on the Pacific Rim.
