@MrMattEnlow, how's it going with fixing the mp4 uploads? My video still stops at the 4 minute mark. Should I (and could I) upload a different format? Unfortunately my punchline is more of a visual gag. :-)

I'm going to try uploading it again. I hope you guys will take into account that the original upload was before the deadline, and when I asked about it not showing up after a few hours I was told to wait for it to finish processing. I don't mean to be trouble, but a handful of people worked on this and I'd hate for their effort to be wasted for technical reasons.

On the topic of problematic videos, it's been over 24 hours since I uploaded my pitch, and it still hasn't shown up here. I e-mailed tech support, but if anybody else has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I've talked to the tech folk here at Atom, and they've agreed to do some internal work to re-encode the problematic mp4 videos. You guys don't need to do anything, and they'll fix your videos. Just give us a bit of time, it's kind of a hefty job.

@duster47, I bet you need to update your flash plug in. You can try to update via IE or just go directly to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Let us know if that doesn't work.

I had the freezing up at the end problem and after MUCH experimenting and some infuriatingly irrelevant responses from tech support eventually figured out it's a problem with the site processing .mp4 files. Any other file will upload fine but any .mp4 file will have the video freeze before the end while the audio continues playing.

Is anybody else having problems with their videos freezing up toward the end (around the 4 min mark)? I still hear the audio, but the video stays paused. Do I need to repost or just be patient? And MrMatt, thanks for the shout-outs!

Very newbie question; where are the videos? Where I suspect there should be a u-tube-style "start button", progress bar, volume, and such is just a big blank field with a tiny image-icon in the top left corner. Should I alter some setting in IE8?

Hey guys, keep in mind that after uploading a video, it has to be encoding and pass moderation. It may take a bit for it to show up for everyone, but you'll get a message if it didn't go through for any reason!

I was exporting with final cut pro to MP4 but I'll try the method you suggested Netwonder, damn the mods are gonna get annoyed with me lol

Teno what program are you using to save or export your movie file? If its Quick Time Pro. Try saving it to H.264 if you have Final Cut Pro use Compressor. it will have a profile for h.264

okay new problem new problem my pitches finally processed and are viewable but the first 2 the video (but not audio) freeze toward the end....=/ I suppose I will re-upload like you said Matt, and hopefully you guys can find the ones that actually work =P
