George Lucas Presents... Padme!
We know how it goes. You've had the seeds of a Star Wars fan movie germinating in your brain since the first time you heard Chewbacca say, "Argh!" Maybe you even put pen to paper and wrote a script. Maybe you actually rounded up some like-minded buddies and got in front of a camera.
The ladies and gentlemen of the 2008 class of Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge Champions certainly did, and now they are basking in the sweet ethereal glow of victory (not to be confused with the sweet ethereal glow of a freshly activated light saber, although it's very similar, and just as awesome).
As if the thrill of receiving an award wasn't enough, one lucky champion gets to hear their movie and their name announced by George Lucas himself. This year, the prestigious 'George Lucas Selects' award went to Robert Reeves for his movie Padme.
Watch the video of George announcing the award, and dream about the day when he might say your name. Inspired yet? Enter next year's Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge!
