The Babysitter Retires to Television!

Brie Larson -- star of Atom exclusive The Babysitter, and member of the rare breed of human known as Funny And Pretty -- has been cast in the upcoming TV series United States of Tara.

The series, which was based on an idea by some guy named Steven Spielberg, will be airing on Showtime -- the network that brought us the witty marijuana satire Weeds, and your favorite '90s soft-core porn Red Shoe Diaries -- so you know that Tara will deliver the mature and sassy good stuff that only subscription cable can!

It probably doesn't hurt that Ms. Larson, who has already demonstrated her natural comedic abilities, will be delivering lines written by the pleasantly acerbic Diablo Cody, Oscar-winning screenwriter of Juno.

We at Atom can say, "we knew her when!" And you know we will. We'll probably also hold a ceremony when we retire her jersey, so check back for more information about that. Until then, enjoy Brie Larson's portrayal of an unsuspecting babysitter who gets caught up in a scheme that every guy everywhere is now wishing he thought of...

If you still can't get enough, check out this interview of Brie, her Babysitter co-star Josh Cooke, and writer/director David H. Steinberg.
