About the ticker; either they legitimately don't know how to write comedy, or they're being surprisingly condescending. "Guess what? You get to have a small part in our gem of a project! Congratulations!" Although their wording would suggest the former ("we need your help", not "you get to help"), I'm going with condescending. And don't tell me it's just for fun. You know what would be more fun? Seeing the jokes for the first time in the finished product. You know, written by the filmmakers?!
