  • About Me  - The Woodcreek Faction is a comedy group that creates sketch comedy & prank films. They are notably one of the very few internet comedy teams acting, filming, editing and producing their films completely on their own. Based in Rome, Ga, they have quickly become one of the most popular comedy teams in or outside of New York and Los Angeles. Their official website has received over 2.5 million visitors to date. Founded by Greg Culberson and Jason Beck, The Woodcreek Faction initially achieved success on sites such as eBaum and Fark with prank films. They soon added skits to their repertoire while coining the phrase “Crazy Laugh Action” to describe their unique blend of skits and pranks. In just a few months of establishing a channel on the popular site YouTube, they gained a fanbase strong enough to propel YouTube editors to feature a prank film called “Regular Hamburger” on YouTube’s homepage. Since that time, they have become one of the most watched and featured comedy creators on YouTube with over 2 million video views and over 200,000 channel views. Several of their videos (“Regular Hamburger”, “We’re Taking This Panda”, “How To Treat Your Boss”, & “Cigarette Cop”) have been featured on the front page of YouTube, and their work has been regularly featured on MySpace TV, Revver, Stupid Videos, Metacafe and Funny or Die. Revver Live, an internet show produced by Live Video and Revver, recently featured the popular shorts “Cigarette Cop” & “Bawls”. “Regular Hamburger” has over 1 million views on YouTube. The Woodcreek Faction’s continued success at creating popular videos soon led to interest from beyond the internet. Their sketch comedy work enjoyed success on television with films appearing on Online Nation, a canceled CW show, and most recently, G4TV Canada’s Torrent. Torrent interviewed The Woodcreek Faction in a feature focusing on their cutting edge humor. “Sexual Control” was officially selected to appear at the 2008 Atlanta Underground Film Festival.

We got news for you. They dont play more than 30 seconds of your upload showdown piece and its in a small box at the end of the show. We found out the hard way by telling everyone our piece was airing on Comedy Central and were embarrassed that was how it was tacked on for a few seconds not even full screen, we were so excited then mortified we'd told people to watch!
