And Hi! My name is David Sophia-Siegel, & I'm a music composer/song-writer with a background in doing music for all sorts of theater & film productions - comedy and drama, ambient music, film/theatrical stingers, more classical or semi-classical work (in the vein of, say, Yann Tiersen or Danny Elfman or Goran Bregovic or Moondog), as well as a bunch of just straight up rock & roll stuff. And some stingers here & there. And I just did a few songs for a dark comedy feature length indie release called, "The Snake," which features Margaret Cho and was shown at SXSW this year, and has also been shown all over LA by Patton Oswalt!

These songs largely use samples from which I have since by FAR upgraded (now I use East West and Vienna stuff), but those are what I'd been up to lately, including a recent ambient score for a short film and some more musical theater, so I'm always branching out into new & interesting areas. Hey, DM. A friend in the business posted your video on FaceBook, and that's how I saw it. It's fantastic. Sexy, well made, funny. So, what is DMP going to be?
